Stacey Sasaki

Stacey is a visiting scholar from the University of Manitoba where she is a third year doctoral student. She is interested in examining ways to promote positive intergroup relations and increase social harmony. Her research investigates the effects of rendering intergroup ideologies salient, as well as the effects of adopting different mindsets (e.g., impression formation, evaluative concern) in interaction settings. She is also interested in the ways in which perspective-taking and system threat can influence the dynamics of intergroup contact.
