Jennifer A. Richeson is the principal investigator of the SPCL. She is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Department of African American Studies, as well as a Fellow at the Institute for Policy Research (IPR) where she is actively involved in the Center on Social Disparities and Health (C2S). In 2006, she was awarded the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship! Jenn received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Harvard University in 2000 and her Sc.B. in Psychology from Brown University in 1994. Oh, and she also graduated from Western High School in Baltimore, Maryland! When not in the lab, Jenn (with 2 "n's") likes to run around with her puppy (Achilles), indulge in French food, play cards and scrabble, and comment on politics and current events.
