Rachel Vaughn
   

Rachel Vaughn is a senior psychology major at Northwestern University. Rachel has been involved with the SPCL as a research assistant and as an Undergraduate Research Grant recipient. She will also be conducing research for her senior honors thesis in the SPCL during the coming academic year. Rachel's research interests include examining the effects and interpretations of social interactions across cultural and environmental differences. She is also very interested in where social and clinical psychologies intersect in the treatment and study of social functioning in mental health patients.  After graduation, Rachel plans to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology and hopes to first spend a year conducting research abroad. In her spare time, she dances, volunteers as a child mentor, and competes on the Northwestern Speech Team because she loves performing!
